Cent-Listat was born out of passion and expertise in wood processing. The then family business was founded in Kalajoki, Northern Ostrobothnia, over 30 years ago. Today, Cent-Listat has established itself as a pioneer in wood interior design and is among Finland's top manufacturers of high-quality home finishing products.
Our CENT brand selection includes high-quality moldings, panels, sauna and terrace products, as well as a wide range of planed products. We continue to manufacture our products at the Kalajoki factory, utilizing the industry's most modern production technology.
The CENT-Listat factory is located in Kalajoki.
"Our own online store started with CENT Outlet, which we established as a marketplace for second-quality products and clearance items. We wanted an agile sales channel for these usable products, and from that came the need to establish our own online store: CENT Outlet," says Cent-Listat's marketing manager Eetu Rintamaa.
The outlet's operation was initially experimental, but from the start very functional and agile. "Soon we noticed that alongside products sold in sales batches, customers often needed more of the same product or complementary products. To make purchasing as effortless as possible for the customer, we also added some first-quality products and accessories to the outlet's selection," Eetu describes the development of the outlet.
Selling grade I products in the Outlet, perceived as a place for clearance products, could be confusing and contradictory for customers, so we sought new solutions. CENT is a high-quality Finnish design brand, so we wanted to create a marketplace worthy of the products, and from that was born CENT Brand Store.

Specialized timber marketplace online
From the versatile product range of CENT Brand Store, you will now find all CENT brand home finishing products. Selection covers interior panels and moldings, sauna and terrace products, as well as a selection of planed timber such as various slats, boards, and planks. You can also conveniently order from the online store free sample piece of the desired product.
Products are delivered to the customer's specified destination address by Kaukokiito or you can pick up the products directly from the Kalajoki factory.
The online store also includes Outlet section, where you can make great finds at clearance prices. In the Outlet section, we add products classified as grade II in our production, the last pieces of production batches, and clearance products. Grade II products are made from grade I raw material, but the final products have not met grade I requirements. Grade II products include, for example, unevenness, planing errors, and products containing many knots, or products with defective packaging. These products require consideration of higher than usual consumption.
Customer-oriented and modern timber trade
At the center of all our operations is the customer. Buying timber online is often perceived as difficult, although in reality it can be easy and effortless. We want to show that buying panels and moldings can be done effortlessly even from the home sofa.
"The customer can first seek inspiration and tips from our site, consider what would be the best solution for themselves. The free sample piece to order makes decision-making easier. The purchase decision can be made from the comfort of the home sofa and wait for the order to arrive at the doorstep," Eetu describes the customer's purchase path.
We developed our online store experience already in our Outlet, but for Brand Store we wanted to go one step further. The renewed online store is clearer in appearance and functions, and the structure is designed to serve the customer and make shopping as straightforward as possible.
