Inspiration from nature
Our section was based on Finnish wood and natural materials. The interior designer responsible for the section's design, Jutta Tanninen, drew inspiration for the section from Finnish nature, curly pines, forest and archipelago landscapes. "Pine, and especially untreated pine, is currently trending strongly, so I wanted to build the entire section around natural materials, wood, and especially domestic pine," Tanninen summarizes.
At the exhibition booth untreated wood and products in itself get come into their own. The booth's overall look appears serene and calm, but hides within itself different shapes' and textures' celebration. At the booth are seen a lot various products, such as domestic from spruce made exterior cladding boards, pine flooring, pine panels different in textures and lovely rim ideas.

Cozy feeling and the touch of real wood
Our booth consists of two parts: the building’s facade and the cozy interior spaces. We wanted to create a genuine homely feeling and offer as authentic and tangible an image of our products as possible. The booth features, among other things, a cozy and atmospheric “nest” where you can sit at a table and immerse yourself in the ideas presented around you.
Additionally, the booth features many samples and model pieces that you can physically touch and feel. From the QR codes placed on the booth’s building elements, you can click directly to the product page and learn more about the product’s features.

The theme of Habitare is community and respect for nature
This year’s theme of the Habitare fair is “Together / Together”. The theme reflects the current need for a sense of belonging and at the same time emphasizes our responsibility to care for both nature and each other.
At CENT and our Habitare booth, we also want to encourage caring for nature, ecological responsibility, and nurturing community spirit. Genuine and timeless materials, such as Finnish wood, are long-lasting and ecological choices. Wood also creates a cozy and warm atmosphere in various spaces from homes to offices, thus strengthening community and security around us. In the future of interior design, natural materials like wood and stone will surely remain prominent and be appreciated even more. Tanninen predicts that in the future, interior design will increasingly reflect the reduction of disposable culture, while long-lasting and timeless purchases will take an important role.
